JANUARY 22, 2016: All after school activities cancelled due to weather

JANUARY 22-23, 2016:  Due to the threat of winter weather, Florence City Schools will be dismissing students early today.  All after school activities and events, including today’s basketball games against Austin, have been cancelled.  All activities for Saturday, January 23 have been cancelled as well. Information about a makeup dates will be announced when it is determined.

FALCONS ARE GETTING GOOD AT TAMING TIGERS The Falcon Tennis Teams took to the courts on Tuesday afternoon to tame another Hartselle Tiger. The Hartselle Tigers came to Florence looking for a little revenge from the last match. The Falcons won that match 8-1 and 9-0, then repeated the same score Tuesday at home 8-1,


FALCONS SPLIT MATCHES WITH DECATUR The Falcons had a sweet-and- sour day on the courts Tuesday afternoon. The men won 8-1 while the women took one on the chin, losing 1-8. FALCONS DEMOTE THE LEE GENERALS The Falcons traveled to Huntsville Monday afternoon to take down the Generals from Lee High School. The Falcons played one half of a match with the Generals before Spring Break only to be rained out and rescheduled. The Generals were demoted to private first class by the Falcons, losing 9-0
