1st Place Athletics Championship Meet

The Florence Falcons Cross Country team participated in the 1st Place Athletics Championship Meet in Oakville, Alabama. The men’s team finished sixth out of 26 teams.  Out of 328 runners, Senior, Max Erbe, took 11th overall while Junior, James Ridgeway, came in 19th place. Volleyball Advances to Super Regional

MUSCLE SHOALS, AL- The Florence volleyball team placed second in the area tournament held at Muscle Shoals Tuesday.  The second place finish earned the Falcons a spot in the Super Regional tournament in Huntsville Friday, October 24. Three Florence players earned Area All Tournament Team honors: Lakien Dillard, Aleah Newsome and Latresia Williams.

Oktoberfest Invitational

CULLMAN, AL- The Florence Falcons Cross Country team ran in the Oktoberfest Invitational in Cullman, Alabama Saturday. Eighth grader, Adi Burns, took overall third place in the 2.2 mile race, while eighth grader, Elizabeth Infanger finished fourteenth.  Florence freshman, Grant Brown, finished third in the boy’s 2.2 mile race. Keaton Anderson & Dee Smith Selected for All-Star Game

Falcons collecting donations for cancer research

FLORENCE, AL- The Florence Falcon Varsity Volleyball team finished 2nd in the Lauderdale County Tournament.  This is the best finish ever by a Florence volleyball team in the Lauderdale County Volleyball Tournament. Florence started the morning by defeating Wilson and Mars Hill before suffering a loss to Lexington. Florence again defeated Wilson in an elimination game to advance
