State Bound Track & Field

The track & field team competed in sectionals Friday and Saturday at James Clemens.  The following athletes qualified for the state meet in Gulf Shores. Falcons fans, please congratulate our senior softball players.

SOCCER PLAYOFFS: Florence vs Grissom, April 29, 6:30 P.M.

The area 8 champions, Florence Falcons, are hosting perennial powerhouse, Grissom, Monday, April 29, at 6:30 P.M.  We would love to have a big and loud crowd to help pull our boys through.  The weather forecast looks perfect.  Please come support these outstanding young men in their first ever 7A playoff game!!  

Track Sectionals: April 26-27

The track team will be competing in sectionals at James Clemens April 26-27.

Baseball Playoffs: At Huntsville, April 26

The Florence baseball team will travel to Huntsville Friday for a first round double header in the AHSAA Baseball Playoffs.  Game 1 starts at 5:00 P.M. and game 2 at approximately 7:00 P.M.  Game 3, if necessary, will be Saturday at Huntsville.

Softball Senior Night April 25

Thursday we will be recognizing our 5 seniors before the game against Deshler.  The game was scheduled for a 5:00 P.M. start but we have moved up game time to 4:00 P.M. hoping the rain will hold off.  Please come out as we recognize Kennede Cobb, Kyndall Crosslin, Claire Williams, Sophia Angel and Kealsey Todd.

Ruby Cunningham & Isabel Mallette win state championship in doubles

Ruby Cunningham and Isabel Mallette won the state championship today in the 7A Girls Tennis number two doubles. They defeated the number two doubles teams of Vestavia Hills, Mountain Brook and Huntsville to claim the title! Click images below for full photo:  

Esports Update

We had 2 matches last week. The first match we met with a little adversity and ended up tying Pigsah High School 1-1. We added a new player (Nick Lewand) in the support role and were still working on our synergy.  We bounced back in our second match versus Wadley High School and returned to

The Florence Falcons girls played in the first day of the state tennis tournament in Decatur today. The Falcons doubles teams of Madeline Creel and Martha Mitchener advanced to play Vestavia Hills in the number one doubles semifinals tomorrow and Isabel Mallette and Ruby Cunningham advanced to play Mountain Brook in the number two doubles
