ATLANTA — After a redshirt season, former Florence standout Erroll Thompson made quite an impact at Mississippi State in 2017.
The rising sophomore, a 6-foot-1, 250-pound middle linebacker, earned All-SEC Freshman honors after recording 46 total tackles, including 21 solo. Thompson moved into the starting lineup late in the season, and his total tackles topped SEC freshman linebackers and were fifth among all freshmen in the league.
